The Opportunity
We're seeking an exceptional Relationship Psychologist & Brand Spokesperson to be the authoritative voice of our transformation and help shape the future of modern dating. This is a unique executive position that combines psychological expertise, media savvy, and strategic thinking to advance our mission of fostering genuine connections in the digital age.
As our primary spokesperson, you'll work directly with our co-CEOs Brandon Wade and Dana Rosewall to establish Seeking.com as the thought leader in relationship psychology and modern dating dynamics. This role is perfect for a distinguished psychologist or psychoanalyst who can translate complex relationship science into compelling narratives that resonate with millions.
Key Responsibilities
Media & Public Relations (40%)
- Serve as Seeking.com's primary spokesperson for all media appearances (TV, podcasts, print, digital)
- Represent the company at industry conferences, panels, and speaking engagements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key media outlets and journalists
- Respond to media inquiries with authority, warmth, and credibility
- Host and lead the Seeking.com podcast series
- Conduct “live” sessions on Seeking.com’s social media channels
- Develop thought leadership content for our blog, reaching millions of readers
- Create educational video content for YouTube and social media channels
- Write authoritative articles on modern relationships, dating psychology, and human connection
- Oversee the development of our Modern Partner Series and safe dating initiatives
- Collaborate with marketing to ensure all messaging aligns with psychological best practices
Strategic Advisory & Product Development (20%)
- Partner with Product team to integrate psychological insights into platform features
- Advise on user experience design based on behavioral psychology principles
- Develop frameworks for healthy relationship formation in digital spaces
- Create educational programs that help users build meaningful connections
- Provide a psychological perspective on product safety and user well-being initiatives
Brand & PR Strategy (10%)
- Work with PR team to shape our narrative and positioning strategy
- Develop messaging that authentically communicates our evolution and values
- Address misconceptions about our platform with credibility and authority
- Help craft responses to critical coverage with psychological expertise
- Build bridges with academic and professional psychology communities
Required Qualifications
Education & Credentials
- Doctoral degree required (Ph.D., Psy.D., or M.D. with psychiatry specialization)
- Licensed psychologist or psychiatrist in good standing
- Specialization in relationship psychology, couples therapy, or related field preferred
- Published research or recognized expertise in human relationships is a plus
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of clinical or research experience in relationship psychology
- Proven media experience with demonstrated success in:
- Television appearances (live and recorded)
- Podcast hosting or regular guest appearances
- Public speaking at major conferences or events
- Track record of translating complex psychological concepts for general audiences
- Experience with content creation (writing, video, or audio)
- Exceptional verbal communication skills with natural on-camera presence
- Ability to remain composed and articulate in live media situations
- Strong writing skills for both academic and popular audiences
- Deep understanding of modern dating dynamics and technology's impact on relationships
- Comfort discussing sensitive topics with professionalism and empathy
- Media training certification preferred but not required

What We Offer
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $130,000 - $180,000 (commensurate with experience)
