Vision for the Role

The Creative Manager at Seeking is a hands-on leader who combines aesthetic excellence with organizational discipline. This role oversees the day-to-day operations of our creative department, managing people, projects, and output to ensure the highest level of execution across all marketing and product channels.

We’re looking for someone who leads with both vision and skill, who is able to mentor and motivate a team while also jumping in to execute when deadlines are tight or inspiration strikes. This is a collaborative, fast-moving role for someone who’s passionate about great design, luxury branding, and building a team culture based on trust, clarity, and creativity.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing a team while remaining actively involved in the creative process. It’s not a Creative Director position—this role requires hands-on execution and day-to-day operational leadership.

What You’ll Be Doing

Team Leadership & Creative Direction

  • Manage the day-to-day workflow of the creative team, providing leadership, structure, and guidance across all projects.
  • Mentor and develop team members by offering consistent feedback, coaching, and skill-building opportunities.
  • Set and uphold creative standards across all workstreams to ensure high quality, innovation, and brand consistency.
  • Help establish and enforce department policies, procedures, and workflows that support clarity, growth, and accountability.

Hands-On Design & Execution

  • Act as a working creative leader, stepping in to support design work as needed, particularly in Figma/XD, Photoshop, and asset editing.
  • Provide hands-on creative input in design and content production, especially during high-volume periods or fast turnarounds.
  • Guide visual storytelling across mediums, ensuring high-end production quality and alignment with Seeking’s luxury brand aesthetic.
  • Review, refine, and approve final assets (including designs, photography, and video edits) before submission to leadership to ensure quality control.
  • Embrace and implement new tools and technologies (e.g., AI image generators, ChatGPT) to improve output and efficiency.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Campaign Development

  • Work closely with the marketing, product, and support teams to align on brand strategy and ensure cohesive execution across all channels.
  • Manage the creative development of campaigns—from concept to delivery—for use across digital, email, social, paid ads, and product.
  • Support the design and planning of email marketing content, including welcome flows, lifecycle campaigns, and promotional sequences.
  • Be present on set for photo and video shoots—either in-person or virtually—to ensure creative direction, styling, and final content are on brand, luxury-aligned, and visually consistent with Seeking’s standards.
  • Bring a forward-thinking, trend-informed lens to every campaign by staying attuned to shifts in photography, design, culture, and audience expectations.

Project Management & Quality Assurance

  • Maintain project timelines and ensure that all deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standard.
  • Manage external vendors or freelancers as needed, supplementing the internal creative team when additional capacity is required.
  • Ensure that all designs and assets reflect Seeking’s visual identity, strategic goals, and luxury positioning.
  • Participate in brainstorming and ideation sessions to drive creative innovation and continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related creative field (required).
  • 5+ years of experience in a creative leadership or senior-level creative role.
  • A strong, polished portfolio demonstrating luxury brand work, digital campaign assets, and cross-platform consistency.
  • Experience in Figma (or Adobe XD), Photoshop, and the broader Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience in e-commerce, fashion, beauty, or other high-end consumer industries is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success working in and/or leading creative teams in fast-paced, remote environments.
  • Familiarity with email marketing design, landing page flow, and user-centered layout for digital performance.
  • A track record of mentoring creatives and helping teams elevate their craft.
  • Comfort with learning and teaching new tools, including AI platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, image generators).
  • Experience working alongside marketing, product, and technical teams in collaborative workflows.
