Product Designer
Summary
As a Product Designer at Reflex Media, you’ll own and elevate the end-to-end design of core experiences across Seeking.com’s native mobile apps and webapp. We’re aiming for rapid growth and retention, and we need a top-tier designer with a strong, referenceable track record shipping beautiful, modern, and luxurious consumer products.
You’ll set a relentlessly high bar for elegant, intuitive UX and craft pixel-perfect UI from concept through launch. You’ll embrace the future by working in an AI-forward, rapidly iterative environment, partnering closely with customers, Product, Development, and Executive stakeholders to deliver. This is an individual contributor role with high visibility and deep involvement in shaping a long-term design vision for an established global user base.
Key Responsibilities
- User Experience Excellence: Set and uphold a relentlessly high bar for elegant, intuitive UX, guiding work from user flows to pixel-perfect UI.
- Design Execution & Craft: Create and iterate on user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that are visually exceptional and production-ready.
- Insight-Driven Innovation: Synthesize user feedback, usability studies, behavioral data, and competitive analysis to identify high-impact UX opportunities.
- Usability Testing & Iteration: Plan and run usability tests, gather feedback, and rapidly iterate to improve engagement, conversion, and overall product health.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner tightly with Product Managers, Engineers, and QA to define solutions, clarify requirements, and ensure accurate implementation.
- Design Systems & Consistency: Contribute to and evolve our design system to ensure a cohesive design language.
- Business-Impact Thinking: Design through the lens of measurable outcomes, connecting decisions to user and business value, while articulating rationale clearly.
- AI-Augmented Workflow: Integrate AI-assisted tooling across ideation and iteration to increase speed and quality without sacrificing craft.
- Quality & Delivery: Ensure design intent is preserved through implementation, flag issues early, and drive a polished release.
- Internal Evangelism: Champion design wins by sharing learnings, raising the design bar, and helping shape the product design culture at Reflex Media.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience: 4–6+ years of product design experience, with ownership across web and native iOS and Android app products (B2C preferred).
- Proven Shipping Track Record: A strong, portfolio-backed history of delivering high-quality experiences that improved key metrics (activation, retention, conversion, engagement).
- Must include a portfolio link
- Expert Figma Proficiency: Expert-level skill in Figma, including component systems, prototyping, and collaboration workflows.
- Rapid Prototyping: Comfortable moving quickly from rough concepts to interactive prototypes while maintaining quality and coherence.
- Obsessive Design & UX Standards: An eye for beautiful UI and an intrinsic high bar for UX. You can articulate, defend, and evolve design decisions with clarity.
- Research Fluency: Working knowledge of industry-standard UX research methods (usability testing, interviews, surveys, etc.) and the ability to translate insights into design improvements.
- Flawless Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication. You can present work clearly, incorporate feedback constructively, and align stakeholders around decisions.
- Cross-Functional Influence: Strong ability to build relationships with non-designers and collaborate effectively toward a shared vision.
- Product-Minded: Ability to think like a Product Manager, grounding design decisions in business context, user needs, and measurable impact.
- Proactive and Autonomy Minded: A true owner mindset. You are proactive, self-sufficient, and drive work to completion without micromanagement.
Nice to Have
