Training and Development Partner
Training & Development Partner
Department: HR | Reports to: Director, Business Operations | Salary range: $75,000 - $100,000
Who We Are
Seeking is the world's leading luxury dating brand, connecting ambitious, successful people with the partners who simply make life better. We move fast, we set the standard, and we take pride in the quality of everything we do. We measure ourselves by what we deliver, not what we discuss. Excellence is the standard, and impact is the only thing that counts.
The Role
This is a role for someone who wants to make a real, visible impact on how an organization performs. You will get close to the business, understand what it takes to win, and channel that understanding into coaching and development that moves people and teams forward in ways they can actually feel. You will partner directly with leadership to assess where we are, define what excellence looks like at every level, and build the programs that get us there.
A great week in this role looks like a full calendar of one-on-one coaching sessions across every level of the company: individual contributors, managers, directors. You listen well, you ask the right questions, you give direct and actionable feedback, and you leave people better than you found them. You bring that same energy to the programs you build and the teams you develop.
What You Will Do
Start With the Organization
- Spend your first 30 days in deep listening and assessment mode: meet with every department head and key leader to understand their team's strengths, gaps, and what it will take to get to the next level
- Build a clear, documented picture of the skill and capability gaps across the organization
- Understand the Co-CEOs' vision for where the company is going and use that to shape a development roadmap that directly supports getting there
Coach at Every Level
- Lead regular one-on-one coaching sessions with individual contributors, managers, and directors as a core part of your weekly rhythm
- Help managers understand that output and getting things across the finish line is what matters, and develop the skills they need to drive accountability on their teams
- Coach on the capabilities that unlock performance: giving direct feedback, running effective one-on-ones, communicating expectations clearly, and holding people accountable without micromanaging
- Be someone people at every level feel comfortable coming to for real talk about their development and their challenges
Build the Programs That Matter Most
- Design and deliver a manager development curriculum grounded in your assessment findings, starting with the highest-leverage skills: accountability, feedback, communication, and output focus
- Build and facilitate new hire training that gets people oriented and contributing quickly, with clarity on what excellence looks like in their role
- Own the 10x AI Enablement Program end-to-end: drive completion, manage accountability, communicate progress to leadership, and identify internal peer coaches who can extend the program's reach
- Develop training for internal systems, processes, and workflows so that knowledge gaps never slow teams down
- Create learning content across formats as needed: guides, workshops, presentations, and short reference materials that are tight, clear, and actually get used
Build the Infrastructure
- Implement the company's first Learning Management System: evaluate options, lead the rollout, and establish how training is tracked and delivered at Seeking going forward
- Maintain an internal training library that grows over time and stays current as the company evolves
- Track program completion and participation, report results to leadership, and continuously improve based on what the data and feedback tell you
What Success Looks Like
At 90 days, you have completed a thorough organizational assessment and presented a clear development roadmap to leadership. You have established coaching relationships across the company, and people already know who you are and what you are here to do.
At six months, the first manager training program is in motion. Directors and managers are receiving direct coaching. You have an LMS up and running. The 10x Program is on track. And people across the organization can feel that something is different.
What We're Looking For
Experience
- 4+ years in learning and development, talent enablement, organizational development, or executive coaching
- A track record of leading live training sessions and one-on-one coaching engagements, not just designing programs
- Experience conducting organizational or training needs assessments and translating findings into a development plan
- Experience selecting or implementing an LMS or other L&D infrastructure is a strong plus
- Background working with leaders and managers on performance, accountability, and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Education, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Skills & Competencies
- Exceptional coaching and facilitation skills. You can work with a first-year IC and a seasoned director in the same day and make both conversations count
- Strong listening skills. You learn an organization by asking good questions and paying close attention to what people say and what they don't
- Direct, clear communicator in both writing and conversation. No fluff, no filler
- Instructional design skills that prioritize clarity and behavior change over volume
- Organized and self-directed. You manage your own workload and follow through without needing to be managed
- Comfortable with data. You can track program metrics, identify patterns, and communicate findings to leadership concisely
Who You Are
- You are driven by impact. You want to look back at your work and point to real, measurable change in how people perform and how teams operate
- You hold yourself to a high standard and bring that same expectation to the people you develop. Good enough is not something you say
- You have great energy. People feel better after they talk to you, and that is not an accident
- You are a team player who takes full ownership of your lane. You collaborate generously and deliver independently
- You are action-oriented. You listen, you assess, and then you get to work. Talking about doing things is not your style
- You care about outcomes. Your measure of success is whether people are actually growing and teams are actually performing better
- You are comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-standards environment where the bar is always rising
- You bring enthusiasm to the work without sacrificing rigor. You take the mission seriously and you have fun doing it
